SelfCare Foundation

Our Team

Muhammad Ahmed Imran - Founder

My dedication to serving others stems from my early involvement with communities in need of medical assistance, starting at the age of 7. Through this experience, I encountered individuals from diverse backgrounds and recognized a prevalent pattern: many prioritized providing for their families over addressing their own health needs, viewing healthcare as a luxury rather than a necessity. Motivated by this observation, I established the SelfCare Foundation to make a positive difference in underserved communities.

My decision to join this Non-Profit stems from my firm belief in the importance of prioritizing personal health maintenance. Through personal experience, I have witnessed the effects of neglecting one’s health, both physically and mentally. I aim to assist individuals in developing beneficial and sustainable habits that contribute to their journey towards a healthier lifestyle. Additionally, I understand that even a gentle nudge can serve as a powerful motivator for individuals to focus on their well-being.

Nuraz Khan - Board Member

My decision to join this journey with this Non-Profit to help underserved communities developed from my passion for joining the healthcare field, as my father has been a family physician for the past 20 years. Having seen and heard the number of times people hesitate to go to the doctor, from a young age. My goal is to build trust and bonds between doctors and people in underserved communities. This is due to my belief that having a trusted relationship with a doctor not only leads to a healthier physical lifestyle but also a mentally healthier one.
